Where the Soccer Magic Magazine story began.
The first issue introduced an independent publication created to cover the teams, players, coaches, and stories shaping soccer across Northern California and beyond.
More than three decades later, the original production artwork still survives. Its handwritten printer instructions, crop marks, and layout notes preserve the hands-on process used to build a magazine before websites, digital publishing, and modern design software changed everything.
